The view from DEMOCRAT Jonathan Turley:
The 56-page indictment of Hunter Biden for tax evasion makes for racy reading, with the special counsel describing a four-year criminal pattern directed at maintaining Biden’s “extravagant lifestyle.”
That lifestyle included massive expenses for strippers, sex clubs, fast cars and other distractions.
The steps taken by Hunter to evade taxes are impressive, but not nearly as impressive as the efforts of the Justice Department to evade any direct implications for his father, President Biden.
In that sense, the indictment itself is a marvel of evasion.

How do you go from a 2-count tax misdemeanor charge and weapons possession charge to a NINE count FELONY indictment after a plea deal falls apart? Something stinks here and I smell GOP all over it…watch MAGA go crazy over this one!

I suspect most politicians and their family members are grifters. The Bidens are no different.
I would say “many” (as opposed to “most”). But the difference here is that the Bidens were (are?) doing these deals with enemies of the USA (China, Russia, and the pro-Russia previous administration in Ukraine) and on a massive scale.
Regardless, my intuition tells me Hunter won’t spend even one minute in a jail cell. If a jury of mostly Democrats (they will be heavily skewed Democrat because of where these trials will be conducted) actually convicts him, his father will pardon him (despite what the White House is currently saying about NOT pardoning him).
