No he did not. God replaced Yom Kippur with human sacrifice? Someone
needs to read Leviticus 17: 10-11. Jesus is a composite character of
historical FICTION, and in that fiction, he is a false apocalyptic
prophet because Jewish Apocalypticism is a failed hypothesis, hence, any
apocalyptic prophet (Jesus and Paul) is a false prophet. Humans have to
forgive each other. If you need some religious practice, there is Yom
Kippur, there is Confession, there is reading the bible verse about how
many times should I forgive my brother. There is also Mozart’s Marriage
of Figaro, “Contessa, perdono” [The countess forgives her husband.]
Listen to that. CRUCIFYING A MAN is what is needed for forgiveness?
    Insanity!

Human understanding of anything is extremely limited . Things are no where near what they seem to our linear brain. Because of this prophets have never stressed intelligence as “The Way ”. We can access other higher realms other ways .

Exploit the pious: make them accept a 180 degree turn on Leviticus 17: 10-11. Well, if Paul and the gospel writers said it, it must be right, despite the Torah where no, Abraham will not sacrifice his son and no, you will not disrespect God with even a metaphor or “symbol” of cannibalism; despite in other place in the Hebrew Bible, cannibalism is an indication of God’s people under siege.

David said, your face I will seek. Psalm 27: 7-9

To add to that, Numbers 6:24-26

“The LORD bless you and keep you; The LORD make His face shine upon you, And be gracious to you; The LORD lift up His countenance upon you, And give you peace.” ’

For Divine Forgiveness, God got some Jewish authorities to get Romans to
kill a Jewish prophet, who Hellenized people called Christ instead of
Messiah. The Owner of the field sure did give the field from the Jews to
the Gentiles. The Jewish God who was the owner of the field gave the
field to the same people the Jews persuaded to kill/crucify his Son:
they are no better than the Wicked Tenants! Some say the Testimonium
Flavianum was inserted into Antiquities and the TF is not another sad
calamity/outrage but the passage before the TF was the outrage. Think
about it: God allowing Jewish Authorities to get Romans to give His Son
the death penalty of crucifixion in order to overturn/usurp Yom Kippur.
That is a SAD calamity. That is OUTRAGEOUS.
