    <div>Wonder how long the patient will live (he didn’t have long to live before he got the pig heart). At least this pig was from a strain that somehow had human tissue growing around the heart. The Indian doctor who tried it in 1997 was obviously not ready for prime time. We need more research on the genetic issues involved. Of course, there is always the Chinese solution to a shortage of organs for transplant- harvesting organs from prisoners they are planning to kill anyway. I suspect that some of those organs are now in underground international commerce.</div>
