    Housing shortage is a fear mongering hoax. By unaffordable they mean that a 20 something can’t buy the best house in the best neighborhood in the most popular city. I bought fixers in bad neighbors hoods and then gentrified them with blood sweat and tears to increase their value and improve the neighborhood. Even won awards for my efforts.
