The whole Dallas-Fort Worth region is many miles across.
I do not live in Dallas County.
When I was on Eharmony, I often searched by state.
So, my experience could go either way: yes, include all of DFW and no, only include a 12 mile-radius from within Plano. Dallas is more than 12 miles from Plano.
