    I tried it when I lived in NYC before 2009.
    There were two activities: 1) one-on-one dates and 2) dinner with six members.

    Second, maybe there are events at the Center in Manhattan on 13th Street? Maybe a gay-friendly church that offers lunch after church service? Since I moved to the Dallas area, one change that has happened is that a United Methodist Church now has a gay-friendly group.
