    I’ve never heard of that. My uneducated but “common sense” would tell me to cut back on calories and increase exercise.

    The coffee will give you energy and work is a diuretic. Lemon juice has been know to decrease the appetite by shrinking the stomach. I can see this working with cutting out or limit sugar and other complex carbs. MTC oil before meals also helps.
