Well the site is back up and running and I’ve already had a bozo try to trick me into fraud. Shame for them really as I can spot a con a mile away and I have LOADS of fun leading them on.

But in case you don’t get a kick out of scamming scammers or need to know how to spot one; here’s a helpful website:

Anytime that I see these online ads about improving someone’s love life or sexual performance in bed, I avoid and ignore them like the bubonic plague. I think that they are all a baseless crock of shit. Anything to try to steal money from the unsuspecting.

They aren’t stopping, are they? I get message after message…with, “What you want from this site?” or “What you looking for from here?” or “May I get to knowing you?” and “Here my personal email. You can give me your email and we exchange pictures”….blah blah blah… I have no problem when English is a second language, but it is pretty obvious these are fake accounts for pretend RJ members. Block them, report them or pretend to be interest but DO NOT GIVE THEM your personal email!!!! It is a scam and a way to get into all of your accounts. This site has everything anyone needs to exchange picture or get to know each other. If people can or won’t do it here, then they don’t need to have an account.

How do you report them? I have nothing in my profile, yet I have already received 5 contacts about how they love my profile. This is rather annoying.

Please message us @RealJock or send email to help@realjock.com to report fake profiles and we will delete ASAP.

Can you set up something where we can just flag these profiles immediately? I’d say that almost half of my messages in the first week of being here have been fakes. It’s much worse than on the old site. If this keeps up, I’ll probably just close down my profile.

        Thank you!

Same experience for me. It’s as if there is malware that indicates to them, all new profiles that have been opened and consequently messages are then generated.

I can see that the users that sent me 5 of the 6 messages I received in the first two days have been deleted, so someone must have reported them. A report profile button is the best way to go.

RJ says to block them, but I don’t know how to do that.

The closest that I have come:

Click on their profile and you will see …

If you select that option you may be able to block them. It didn’t quite work for me, but you may have better luck.

Scammers are literally on every single website and dating app out there. At least on here it’s easy to press a button and block, delete, and/or report them.

I’ve reported this one but it’s hilarious. So this doctor contacts me, all the usual nonsense, “Hi Handsome…..I really want to get to know you….”.

And found this. Word for word the same bio. Hilarious. So I confronted him, gave him the web link and asked him if this ever worked? And he blocked me, I’m devastated lol. Remember, if they tell you off the bat they think you are amazing, looking for a nice man and they want to meet; it’s crap.

You should not have done that. What will now happen: that bad actor will now realize people are unto him/her and will change his wording becoming more sophisticated and consequently harder to detect. One of the first lessons you are taught in countering fraud is never to let the fraudster know the triggers.
