I just joined the gym after a long time away do to a injury to my shoulder. With 40lbs of extra weight and flappy muscles I decided to get advice from a trainer. I was so disappointed that she wanted me to put on more weight and was didnt address my weak and sore shoulder. I am thinking of just going slow and easy myself and then when my shoulder is stronger then hit the weights hard. I tried swimming but lets face it ..the breast stroke doesnt babby the shoulder at all.
