I find that the older I get, the more brutal my workouts need to be! It wakes your body and mind up and really transforms you. I have read experts same similar things. I think people are just afraid to say it because if someone injures themselves, they could be liable. I thought I was done for 7 years ago when I got severe tendonitis in both elbows and a rotator cuff injury in my right shoulder. My workouts were boring and I was having trouble lifting more than 20 pound dumbbells without pain. I rejoined CrossFit several months ago and the coach really puts us through it. I’m handling weights I never dreamed I would ever lift again, and all pain free. I have also dialed in my diet and got animal products out of my meals, except for bivalves occasionally.
