Anything in excessive quantity is bad. Even water.
If you were wondering about protein powders, i believe it’s not the protein content but other things contained in it, make the damage. You may go for other options like white meat, nuts, etc

Check out the Docs that have been on Carnivore diet for years and get blood work done. I started this year but not 100%. Blood pressure is now ridiculously low and I’m probably 8% body. So easy to get ripped without a lot of gym time.

That myth problem originates from the vegan camp and may have some truth in it since the quality of proteins vary greatly. Stick with grass fed, pastured meat not synthetic protein powers. Good natural Fat is as essential as well . No industrial processed seed oils.

I have stage 3 kidney failure most likely caused by heart failure not a high protein diet, however if you have kidney failure it is hard for your kidneys to process protein and your protein levels can go out of range. The easy way to tell is when your protein is elevated is when you pee if you see a lot of bubbles in the water your protein may be high and you may want to get a kidney test. I have done a lot of research on this so if you have any specific questions feel free to ask. Note I am not a doctor but have been to a lot.

The discussion is very interesting for learning.
I am trying to do more protein and less carb to build my body though am not taking any protein shakes so the process is very slow. I think I will maintain that.
