@metta please explain why – according to your source – it’s ok (not “backward”) for Arab/Muslim countries to discriminate against gays, but not for Tennessee or Alabama? Ditto abortion bans, or even ERA and the treatment of women. Why is it ok for a conservative Muslim to say that gays should be executed and women should be barefoot and pregnant in the kitchen (it’s just different cultural values), but wrong for a conservative Christian to say the same thing?

Note: I’m not supporting these Medieval, backward, beliefs. Just pointing out the hypocrisy.
