“A small Florida town in Miami-Dade County has defied the wishes of its mayor to celebrate Pride Month and fly the rainbow flag.
Despite the opposition of Surfside Mayor Shlomo Danzinger, the town’s commissioners voted 3-2 to officially recognize June as Pride Month and to hold a ceremony to raise the flag.”

Maybe it’s time for Shiomo Danzinger to get in touch with his/her feelings? Good on the Commission for overruling this petty BS. I wish people would get this upset over things that REALLY matter: minimum wage, affordable healthcare, housing, food, school, overhaul policing, cut military budgets, de-privatize pharma, abolish oil/gas subsidies, banking oversight/reform, tax code overhaul, voting rights, women’s rights, political campaign reform, accountability. I could go on…VOTE people!!
