I spend most of my time in my head, exploring imagery and narratives with widespread inspirations (including crossover nightmares). This includes curiosity and a horrid post-modernism, where my thoughts are subject to interrogation and meta-interrogation (after all, why do I ask of myself what I ask of myself?). My ideal situation is when the nature around me compels me to stop thinking and just feel it, relieving myself of myself for the purpose of experiencing that which I come from (and that which will likely exist long after my bio-electricity ends / short-circuits).

Why shut oneself up now in fear of embarrassment in the future, when the only otherwise guaranteed future is silence?

There is no Father, only the slime from which we've arisen and continue to create new ones of ourselves (you may have noticed that goo that oozes out of you; consider how many possibilities it contains for increasing the species and how those possibilities fade into translucence, ending). The ending of these possibilities should be noted, but not feared, whether in the shape of tadpoles or in the shape of prenatal ourselves. Upon exiting the slime and succeeding that first breath, then we know a human has been made.

I'm not a solipsist...anymore...yet.

I am a speaker with an audience of one.

Problem: what purpose is there for improving the appearance of oneself through exercise when the body (without which the mind does not exist) is temporal, one whose lasting value will be nutrients feeding maggots, worms, and grass? Exercise that does not change the mind seems foolish. Exercise that feeds the mind seem better, whether martial or survival oriented.

The only relief I experience through exercise is the quelling of guilt over not otherwise exercising.

Blood belongs on the canvas, not on the floor.

The Grudge (Gellar version)

*I know that this is not particularly divergent*

The Grudge with Sarah Michelle Gellar is one of the most pointless films I have seen. It is a remarkably lame attempt at a horror film; at most, it provides a few cheap scares without much of an effort to connect the scares into one coherent whole.

The haunting is itself more than enough to work it; the non-chronological timeline of the film gives it a choppy feel and detracts from whenever the film builds up a scare. The flash editing of horror shots (where we are shown something horrible / grotesque for a second and then cut to black) is pretentious, in effect "cock-blocking" us from appreciating what little the film offers of horrific sights.

At least in the television series (which I didn't much care for either), there was one scene where the I was outright disturbed by the film.*

*it's the scene where the homicidally jealous Takeo calls up the object of his wife's infatuation and then begins bashing a bag against the pavement; he explains that the bag contains the fetus he has cut out of Kayako. Now, that's some nasty sh*t.

LGBTQ-hostility: is it normative, or is it a development?
I want to explore the sources of LGBTQ-hostility. I suspect that it is not a historically normative social construction, but rather a development largely brought about the European (and possibly other) colonial hegemonies. I think that the spread or intensification of LGBTQ-hostility* may have been a two-layer smear: the first layer is the direct, Euro-Christian doctrine against LGBTQ persons; the second layer is the victimization and the sense of victimization on the part of colonized persons and cultures, who may then adopt the LGBTQ-hostility in an attempt to regain pride / manhood / overcompensatory dignity (in effect, adopting or permitting the greater influence of Euro-Christian doctrine as a salve against Euro-Christian violations).
