I am from Kansas City originally and the Chiefs just got done having a horrendous season, losing the last 9 games of the year. The fans in KC are going nuts, swearing they will never go to another game of watch them on television. The Chiefs haven't had a season like this since 1988. All teams have ups and downs but the fans in KC are jumping off the bandwagon as fast as they can with the least amount of provocation.

This is something that annoys me to no end: the fair weather fan. I have great respect for people who loyally support their team through good and bad seasons.

Am I wrong?

I'd check the water in KC there Irishkcguy. I was in KC a year ago and went to watch the Royals and the Tigers. My friend and I went to get a beer (before workout commitment) and a hot dog, ask the vendor how he thought the Royals would do, his comment...yeah they'll lose again! We chastised him for not supporting his team...he really didn't seem to care. The Tigers won. Everyone likes a winning team I guess.

Being a fair weather fan is almost as bad as being at a game and not watching it...instead chatting with your friends about work the whole time....now that pisses me off!

At some point you just have to hedge your bets...I'm still gonna root for the panthers year after year anyway though

honestly? i'm not a very loyal fan at all. i don't pay any attention to the games whatsoever, any of them.

i play the games. i don't watch them. it does my body good.

besides, they get payed huge $$$$. GA recently had a big water shortage issue. people had to make serious choices about where water went. but the turf got it's abundance of water. priorities?
