so I was wondering, in my regular diet I tend to consume a lot Flaxseed i.e. 1-2 tablespoons of it

according to nutritiondata that contains

per tbsp:
Total Omega-3 fatty acids 2338mg
Total Omega-6 fatty acids 606mg

do I still need supplementation in EFA's ? also I'd appreciate if anyone can give me a break down of EPA/DHA's in flaxseed

There is zero EPA or DHA in flaxseed. The body has to convert the short-chain omega 3 in flax to the long-chain EPA/DHA forms, and it is a very inefficient process at best (about 5-10% conversion rate.) That's why so many people simply take fish oil: it's already in a form the body can use.

If you eat a lot o Fish, however, it wouldn't be necessary. it's just good for you plain and simple, too much isn't going to hurt you

My favorite EFA is Krill.

You can read more about it here:

https://perfectfitwc.getprograde.com/store.php?top_menu=Athletic_Performance&products=16-18-19&submenu=1

It is more concentrated than fish oil and has no "burp back" associated with fish oil......a good thing....
