Old white guys for young Asians?

I am wondering why a lot of older white men visit to Manila/Bangkok/Jakarta to look for younger partner that can be also their son… 18 – 22 yrs old. I’m nothing against the idea but the trend keeps on growing. In western countries old gay men can not find a partner to love them? Hope to give me some light on this and hear your opinions.

Many young asians get lavish gifts or inherit significant somes of money and often don't have to work much to get it. Maybe youth craves maturity and stability while age craves excitement and energy? Who knows? I just hope it lasts till I get old. I love asians too! ^^)

It has nothing to do with their ability to find partners in their own countries, nor with the fact that the boys happen to be Asian; it's the satiation of a fetish which Western cultures finds unacceptable, and since an outlet is provided in these SE Asian countries, guess where the men go?

Maybe it's like this : The younger one gives his allegiance to the older, in return the older support the younger one. This kind of lifestyle is very - very common in a straight relationships. Many straight guys in Asia (especially the wealthy one), have a double life. They have their wife, yet they still with another woman (or man) elsewhere.

As with younger men, I'm attracted to some older men and not to some, etc. The bad thing about it is that, in an asian-older guy relationship, people immediately assume it's a sugardaddy-boytoy kinda thing. If it's only older men who take the time to get to know us, of course it'd be much more likely that we end up with them. Age is seldom a factor. And yet people will say oh he's going out with him just for the money, or the stability, or worse, the visa. Fuck that, we can choose for ourselves too.

In fact, some of the guys are a little bit too forceful (I reject politely, and they kept on trying to date and stalk me all the time) But I do want a guy within at most 10 years older than me because they have to be able to handle me and dominate me so I don't screw things up And others say it's all about money and gifts, HELL NO my parents always spoil me (I think it's a cultural thing for parents to spoil their kids in higher income families in Asia), so I don't really need another figure to spoil me..

I'm going to quibble just a bit with your premise. You state this as if the purpose of traveling to Asian countries is to find young partners. Isn't it possible that these older gay men are men who like to travel and have the money to do so? And while they are there, there is plenty of available and attractive company? Who wouldn't like to socialize with attractive young locals?

Two days ago, three friends of mine went fishing. They were two beginners and a more experienced one. In the complex, the experienced one said, "Let's go to the pomfret pond, since they are much easier to catch even though the pond is a little bit further than the 'gurame' ponds." His argument was that they would get the reward with less effort. I am perfectly aware that NOT ALL old white guys think like this or even are attracted to young asians, but in my opinion, the small fraction that visit those countries ESPECIALLY looking for the boys, might think like that. Since I'm using the word 'gurame', yeah, I'm Indonesian too.

These guys ALWAYS liked young Asian men, even when THEY were young. Guess what? They were almost impossible to find here in North America as most were not out. As our young white men grew older and amassed wealth, they travelled to Asian countries and voila, found a lot of hot Asian guys. Of course, by then, most of these young white men were now OLD. Here in Canada, it's common to see young white guys with young asian guys or black guys or brown guys or red guys (north american natives) or green guys or fushia guys or, er, never mind.

Puyo (Perch), Haloan (A slimy eel-like fish), Paitan (Bitterling?), Karpa (Carp), Tilapia, Kasili (True Eel), Two-Spot Gourami... hm... that's all I can remember from my boyhood. Heh. At least the ones large enough to eat. Also our Gouramis are small and aren't edible. They make beautiful aquarium fish though.
