The only swimsuit I wear is from Speedo. It is not a brief but a boxer brief style. I find it really comfortable.

The speedousa website usually has some half price grab bag specials from previous year's styles. They're well made and stand up to daily use for at least a couple of seasons. (My old ones finally got a little too saggy after four or five years and I recently upgraded.)

Is it for actual swimming or just looking good? Dolce and Gabanna do a really cute fitted trunk with a white leather belt, but you can't get them wet. Ridiculous, but if it's just for tanning, I suppose it would be OK

Sad to say, this is the swimsuit that I wear most of the time. (Although I have the one with red trim.)

The Speedo goes underneath, and is used for hanging around in the cockpit, in the snow, while hopping on one foot to get into the main suit.

Just be careful with the lighter colors. They can become quite see-through when wet. You can check the "sheer rating" aussiebum provides for suits where that may be in issue.

I have their white classic. They're fine as long as I don't go in the water.

N2N makes very low cut speedo-type suits. I don't own any so I cannot vouch for the quality.

I agree with aussiebum and speedo. They are very high-quality lines and they each make styles for every possible comfort level with fantastic colours and prints. Speedo is the leader in competition suits for a reason; because they're great!

And steer clear of undergear, that store sells nothing but trash ('cept when they carry speedo and aussiebum products! :wink

Thankyouthankyouthankyou for posting this question & prompting all these hot guys to post pics of themselves in swimsuits!

Too damn old to wear these suits anymore, but all the lowrise suggestions sound good. Another option is Universal gear, a small chain with a store in DC. They have a website which is always fun to look at. I'm sure a google of universalgear.com would find it quick.

There is an RJer who sells a line of clothes, don't recall if it includes swimwear. I'll see if I hotlisted him and if he does I'll post again.

I'm not in good enough shape yet to look good in aussiebum or like-fitting shorts, and not crazy about board shorts. I still like my Speedo swimming trunks, comfortable and not bad looking either

I'm a bit more of a traditionalist when it comes to my board shorts....

This how I pretty much "dress" for the beach/pool

I've always had good luck withe LASC brand. They have a store here in LA but you can also buy on line via internationaljock.com. Aussiebum would probably work for you, you seem to have the build for it but I can never find any that fit me because they are so low cut in the back. If my front is covered by ass crack shows and if I pull the back up it feels like I've got floss up my butt and my cheeks hang out the bottom. So if you have a nice smalll tight bubble butt, they will probably look just right on you!

Oh, and just to weigh in....nothing better than a muscular guy in speedos if you ask me. Board short are OK but if you got it, flaunt it man!

The square cuts from fireboyunderwear.com are really hot.

But if you are modest, get a great fitting long surfer one from dogfunk.com, and have your fireboy underneath.

Just imagine all the eyes on you as you strip down, WOOF

If I had as many abs as you guys do, and as all those swimsuit models do, I wouldn't even bother with a swim suit!

But typically I prefer the board shorts, simply because I don't have near the body for anything else. I'm working on it, but I'm a few years off, I think.

I have this exact suit. It fits so well but I didn't know just how transparent it would be...better not be modest if you get it wet.

I also have these:

Love Aussiebums.

I would have to agree. Speedos seem to be comfortable and more revealing. Which I like.

Here I go again... nothing like low rise. I've been buying a lot from N2N (www.n2nbodywear.com). I love their bikini and boxer cuts.

Also, I have had good luck with: www.heswimwear.com

Yesterday I bought some stuff from Undergear. I'll tell you how I made out with them.
