As I write this I can hear the music throbbing from the sound stages on Church Street in Toronto (about a 2 minute walk from where I live), letting me know that the Pride weekend is officially hear in Canada's gayest city.

So to all of my RJ friends and future friends, have a safe, happy and joyous pride weekend. Even if you don't celebrate pride, just take a few moments of your time and remember those who came before us who have made possible the freedoms we now enjoy. We still have a ways to go, but in the 22 years I have been out the progress has been beyond belief.
