I had one once, and my doc said to just use Monistat. And it worked like a charm.

Drinking cranberry juice is supposed to increase the acidity in the urination tract and help knock out a yeast infection.

Probiotics do a good job of preventing yeast infections and other fungal problems like thrush and even athletes foot. I have no idea how they affect athletes foot though, they just do.

They can't hurt to take, their so good for you.

Yeast infections, athlete's food, thrush are all forms of fungal overgrowth within or on the human body.

This can result from a poor immune system that can't fend off the yeast overgrowth, the consumption of refined sugars and what products and a damaged or near non existent healthy intestinal flora within the gut.

Probiotics are bacterial cultures such as acidophilis, etc. that help to stave off fungal overgrowth.

Heavy antibiotic use also can allow fungus to flourish within the body and some people are just genetically prone to developing thrush.

Yogurts with live active cultures are great to have in order to keep fungal growth under control.

Eating garlic is also anti-fungal so try adding some of this to your diet as well.

HTTP ADDRESS GOES HEREwww.paramountherbs.com has several natural formulas to help with your ph level and yeast overgrowth. Somtimes yest infections are caused because of a parasital infection. There are topical clenasers to apply but you really need to work from the inside out to keep your immune system strong. I have one client that runs way too many miles and his adrenals need support everytime he comes for an appointment.
