I really believe both physical and mental health are based on your attitude. People who want to be sick, can make themselves sick.

People are who unhappy in life are physically and mentally not as healthy as those who are happy. Now I have no data to back up my claims, this is all just speculation.

I find myself having better workouts and doing better at work when I am in a great mood. Therefore I try to take each day for what it is worth. Smile and be happy. There is no better medicine!

I agree good diet, good mood will help. But just few month ago my friend told me about Nutrilite Rhodiola 110 Supplement. Just short info.
Rhodiola 100 helps increase mental and physical performance.
Research suggests that it may also shorten recovery time after exercise by improving your bodys stress response system.
The central ingredient in this supplement is rhodiola rosea, an Arctic herb used as an all-purpose adaptogenic tonic since ancient times. More recently, Russian scientists have studied its ability to enhance performance and reduce stress.

Rhodiola 110 also contains natural caffeine from green tea extract. In combination with rhodiola rosea, this may help promote more vigorous workouts and more energy-filled days.
what do you think guys?

A positive attitude can make all the difference sometimes. If I am in a shitty mood I may not feel like I can do laps for more than 30 minutes.. but on the flipside if I feel good about myself or what I'm doing I get lost in how long I've been swimming. Sometimes I sing a song in my head to take my mind off of what I'm doing, too.

I keep motivated by continually learning. I have mentioned some of the books and interesting facts (interesting at least to me) that I have read and learned.

My psychology requires that I understand the context of something for me to totally embrace it.

My mirror is becoming my greatest "support group."

And of course, compliments like I got today ( http://www.realjock.com/gayforums/204900/ ) really, really keep me going mentally and physically.
