Restarting...

I'm now recovered after being extremely ill for the last couple of weeks. Prior to that I was 5 weeks into the RJ muscle-building programme and it was going fine. Unfortunately, due to my illness I wasn't able to work out and I haven't been able to eat very much at all either.... I can see the fat loss and obviously there's been muscle loss as well :-(

So, my question is: Should I restart the programme, or repeat part of it or try to do some sort of recovery first or what?

Advice and motivation would be appreciated

Glad that you are feeling better. I hate to think of such a cutie being sick.

I'd say restart and take stock after a week or two to see how quickly you've caught up.

Agreed - start back at the beginning and decide how fast you can ramp back up. I had sinus surgery this past January and it knocked me down for a couple of weeks as well. When I got started again, I tried to go balls to the wall and ended up splattering on said wall.

I don't know if you're temperamentally similar, but that would be my one caution - don't try to push yourself too hard since that won't help you in the long run anyway. Good luck!

Since it's a really intense workout, what has your doctor said about this question?
