Does anyone else not like them?

No offense if you have a tat or two (couldn't resist), most people seem to find them a turn on. I just don't get it. Anyone else like me?

I have none, but I find them interesting..... some very attractive... many not.

Its always interesting the kinds things that parents convey to children. My parents achieved a high level of education (Dad an attorney, my mother was beyond her masters degree), but I think its interesting what things were conveyed that really don't have much bearing on anything, tatoos being one of them. I think as a kid someone with tatoos either had been in prison or was the kind of person I shouldn't be.

There are several kinds of tatoos that I think are hot and my parents aside, I'd enjoy getting one.. but the way I spend money on clothes (which is insane), I'd feel deprived probably. Maybe at some point...LOL

On SDTrainer, definitely. LOL.

Some tattoos are great and complement the guy's body, some are icky. It depends.

If you can describe a tattoo as tasteful, then that is how I like them. I hate when it is mumbled up collection of shit all over someone's body. I like a few well placed and well thought tattoos.

I plan on getting most of my body inked as it were. Right now I have 5 tattoos. I'm getting one more in a week. I get one every year until most of my body will be covered, mind you it's going to mean things to me and who and what I am.

When I was 24 and I got my first tattoo it scared a lot of people because of the stigma around guys with tattoos. I find though with everything in life a little explanation and discussion you get two things, well more then two things but two main things, 1. the person knows why because they were curious, they had to have been to bring up the subject and 2. they see it from a different point of view.

Anyways I'm rambling and yeah I'm pro tattoo but I don't hold it against anyone who isn't.

Nope... doesn't scare me at all. I love them. Especailly when they mean something to the person that has them.

I have 5 and each of them has meaning to me.

And honestly, I couldn't care less if somebody else likes mine or even understands what they mean to me.

I'm with you Eric. Although I have felt that I could overlook some on occasion given the right person. I just always wonder what all these guys will look like 60 years from now with all those faded inks! LOL

To each his own!

I don't have any, and probably never will only because I get bored easily and they seem kind of permanent. I do think they are hot on the right person in the right place. I have seen them be excessive too. Now piercings, they just don't do it for me.

This is what I love on guys:

I've always found tattooed guys hot - the more the better. My parents HATE tattoos and my ex said guys who have tattoos are "losers." The only thing I don't like is trendy tattoos that look dated when the trend goes out of style.

It does seem I am in the minority. For me its not the pondering of what they will look like in 40 years, but the idea that someone who takes such good care of their bodies would stain themselves a different color. My mind also drifts off to my grandparents generation, many of whom were tattooed against their will to keep track of them. Not the kind of thought that I want when I see a guy take off his shirt... but I digress.

Anyway thanks, and if there are any others like me out there (or those that would disagree) I'd still like to hear your thoughts.

Tattoos should be unique to every individual, well-thought of and very meaningful.
Here is my story (a picture narrative):

I dont mind tattoos, especially if they have a true meaning to the person. One of my coworkers actually has a tattoo of his sisters gravestone tattooed on his back with a passage beneath it. (They were very close, she died in a car accident)
Myself, I'm still trying to get in to get mine done. I'm from canada, and proud of it. So im getting a tattoo of an animal slash across my arm, and underneath my torn away skin is a canadian maple leaf. I wanna be sure i have it all done before
I run off and enlist next summer.
