Okay so does anyone born after 1985 even know who The New Kids On The Block are? In the concert age of Hannah Montana do you think these forgotten 80s' pop idols have a freakin chance in Hell of being successful? These guys are all in their early to mid-30s now and whose going to wanna pay big bucks to watch these guys go Oh! Oh! Oh!..now? Perhaps if they do the State Fair and Casino route. Anyway, I'll save my money for Tina Turner or Madonna.

Oh, make no mistake...this upcoming tour is going to make them a hell of a lot of money. If the chances were slim, it wouldn't be happening.

Let's face the facts, for those of us old enough, we loved NKOTB, and some of us want the experience of re-living that time by going to one of their concerts.

However, this is one reunion tour I'll skip.

they are going to get lots trying to relive their teenage /high school years going to this tour. I, for one, am too young to ever have gotten "into" this group.

Interesting enough - Danny Woods is in the video and in fantastic shape. He puts together a lot of their dance moves.

Indeed, Donnie Wahlberg looks alot better in that clip than he did last time I saw him.. on a made for the Sci-Fi channel movie.

Joey is still the cute one.. but when he speaks with that heavy Boston accent sounds abit like he rides the short bus

NKOTB was the first concert I went to when I was about 7. Yes, I had the lunchbox. Yes, I had those really big buttons. Yes, I had the sleeping bag.
But I'm 23 now. So I won't be paying to see them.

I'm excited, similar level of excitement as having a hemmorroid...

I'm old enough to remember them, but had an older sister into cool music so I was never into them.

Ok, I'll admit it: I've thought about going, if for no other reason than to see if Joey can still hit those high notes in "Please Don't Go Girl" without pulling a muscle.

Who doesn't have a teeny weeny little flashback to pinned jeans, mall hair, and Zubaz whenever you hear "You've Got It (The Right Stuff)"???

Didn't like their music, and my antipathy has not mellowed with age. Would not go to their concert even with a gun pointed at my head. If this is the way the pop music industry is heading, then the sooner it goes down the toilet the better. Interesting indie bands selling their music directly to consumers is the way to go!

Are they on stage in jocks?
Otherwise, no. Not a fan here of cookie cutter pop no matter what generation it's from.

I'm sensing a reluctance to embrace our childhoods.

Fine -- It'll be Allen and I and thousands of soccer moms.

Oh, wait. Now that I think about it like that...when's Cher's next farewell tour?

What people need to understand is sometimes, when you get to a certain age, you want to take your old "toys" out and play with them one more time. I will say the "Kids" look better than I expected. It has been, what, twenty years since their glory days? The vocals never were very good though. They are consistent with that.

Now I hear, unlike many eighties pop groups, NKOTB had decent contracts, got paid fair money and didn't fritter it away?

There is irony in the band name. I don't know, can they really be called either "new" or "kids" anymore? How old are they now anyway? Maybe this will be like the beach boys comeback in 80's
