Man, the Democratic party needs to have a better sex scandal than this if we are ever going to out do Senator David Vitter's.

The whole McGreevey story just gets weirder and weirder.

And what's with these governors in the northeast, anyway? McGreevey's a homo, Spitzer's a john, and Corzine doesn't think the speed limits apply to him. Or the seat belt laws, for that matter. What next? Will Jodi Rell be caught jaywalking?

Why did he have to resign, I welcomed the idea of a gay president/vice president. Hell, with all the people who ran this year, he'd be the guy who trumped Obama and Hilary as far as I was concerned. Lol, or he could simply be fluffing Obama in the oval office, or decorating the White House with Hilary during the holidays - haha! Why are the outed politicians such quitters damn it? Damn ultracomformist commercialism and it's status quo expectations of people!

If Charlie Crist runs with McCain, and if McCain wins (perish the thought), there WILL be a gay vice-president.

I just read Charlie Crist's wikipedia and a found a few websites with "proof" pointing towards his possible gayness, but there's no difinitive proof or statement saying that he is; though I'd vote for if Obama doesn't make the cut as vice president.

Jim McGreevey and Larry Craig have something in common:

Aside from being latent, closeted, publicly-outed homosexuals, they are both disgusting sleaze-balls of the lowest kind! And there's nothing hot about Jim, either. His antics proves him to be unattractive inside and out. I hope to never know someone like him in the future.

Wow, I'd like to know if there are any gays out there willing to be a gay manchurian candidate?

Imagine: teaching a gay man all he'll ever have to know to pass as either as politician for about 15 to 20 years, closeted, or not depending on future politics, waiting for the time when he would get voted into the oval office; and than to come out either in traditional political scandal or self admittance of the fact after his initial election. It'd be wild fire, but it'd be gratifying, at least for me.

The straight, closeted and confused politicians wouldn't know what hit them.

And now the new governor of NY discloses that he and his wife both had extra-marital affairs that lasted years. They remain happily married.

When will people wake up and realize that sex makes everyone nuts?

I'm not sure you could make any one 'bitchy' Active, but at least you're making some happy.

No, I think it may have just been the epiphany that the older I get the more naive I am. Not sure it's supposed to work that way, but sometimes I could swear it does.

I read his book and I read her book. She strikes more as being far more honest than he is.

Not that I really give a crap either way, but if pressed I'd say I'm more likely to believe her version than his.

Yet another sex scandal. You don't see this type of thing happening often in other countries.

That he now teaches courses on ethics, law and leadership disturbs me a bit more; it's real-life Dilbert.

You know he took the job to get closer to the cute closet cases, so he could teach them what real politics is all about. Sure he's a hyporcrite, but he's got connections and "daddy" status to those rich kids who just want to be spanked! Lol...

But on a serious note, I thought he was going to become a big advocate for gay rights and be a poster boy and voice for us where noone could be heard before. It sucks that he's just getting his now that he's on the market. If I were to survive politics and make it through a few elections; I'd take a stronger stance for my peers, knowing that few others have and that my position could make or break the difference.

Does anybody keep anything to themselves these days? We all sympathized with McGreevey's political closet when the news first broke. We all felt his pain when he wrote his book and detailed his back alley relationships in Washington, but dude, if you were getting all this action with a consenting wife you are losing me!

By the way... I love them both so don't disparage them!

I don't think Larry Craig is gay. I think that cop is a damn liar and Senator Craig was naive and in a hurry and felt he didn't have time to deal with it so took the guilty plea to move on. Cops do this, a lot. He's caught in a trap, his conservative brethren now reject him and he's still criticized by the left and this really helps their agenda. It doesn't help us though. Cops like that still prey on us gay men.

John, as a registered Republican myself, I'm telling you, I'm begging you, please, put the crack pipe down and take a few steps back....

And re: Craig being gay or not, I don't WANT him on the team!

John...Sen Craig was a creepy old gay man who went trolling in the wrong bathroom at the wrong time and place and I don't feel sorry for his ass one bit. If anything he painted a bad image for gays.

I didn't feel sorry for McGreevey either when he was "found" out and to make matters worse he wrote a book about his "sexual adventures as a pained and closeted gay" and then to add insult to injury, had a wife who he claimed was down with it all. It's really hard to shed a tear and feel any sympathy for these politicans when they're the one's who put themselves in those types of situations. Case in point, the newest sex scandel with that one politician dubbed "Mr. Clean". Too bad the name doesn't fit the image because there's nothing clean about what he did. I think it's wrong how once they are caught in these scandals they have the nerve to apologize. Are you kidding me. It's hilarious.

The only people who get my sympathy vote are the families who have now been branded and embarassed in the media by them. The wife, kids, and family friends don't deserve that kind of attention.

I know I should care about this story, but I don't. Sometimes I wish the USA had been founded by people other than the puritans. Sex scandals seem to carry a lot of weight in the media.
